Bible Study Fellowship meets every two weeks breaking for Christmas, Easter and the summer. Meetings are held in the Church lounge arriving at 10.30 am for a cup of coffee ready to open with a hymn and a prayer at 10.45 am.
Our programme of study from September 2012 to March 2013 followed the story of the amazing rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem and the reorganising of the life of God's people under the inspiring leadership of Nehemiah.
After the Easter break we returned to begin a short programme of five lessons on Jesus' healing ministry told by Mark.
We continue to grow as a group of friends taking time together to enhance and refresh our lives through God's word.
Twenty eight are registered, with the group attendance between twenty five to Nineteen, averaging twenty including friends from St, Cuthbert's, Elim, Crossens and Leyland Road Methodist Churches.
Thank you to our Leaders:
Thank you also to Joan Owen our pianist.
It is always a blessing to welcome new members. We would love you to join us, to discover more about what the stories in the Bible mean for Christians living in today's world.

"All scripture inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and make us realise what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work."
2 Timothy 3: 16 - 17 NLT
Following on the work of Denis Brown and the Rev. Ron Charlton Bible Study Fellowship continues to meet every two weeks on a Tuesday in the Church Lounge. A cup of coffee is served at 10.30am, and then the meeting opens at 10.45am with a hymn and a prayer followed by Bible reading commentary and discussion.
We give thanks for the leaders who contribute to our study programme :-
We are blessed to have Mrs. Janice Atfield and Mr. Geoffrey Ellis join our regular leaders - both are well known throughout the local community for their preaching and public speaking. Special thanks must go to Revd. Ron Charlton for his guidance and inspiration. Thanks also to our pianist, Mrs. Joan Owen.
Altogether, we are a lively group enjoying participation and dicussion as well as commentary. We invite new members from our Church community and beyond to join us in friendship to discover more about what the stories in the Bible mean for Christians living in today's world.
